Warranty

1. Warranty Period

CampoBravo E.A.S. provides a warranty period of six (6) months for new CampoBravo equipment.

The warranty period begins on the earliest of:

  • the date of delivery to the customer; or
  • the date the customer is notified that the equipment is ready for pickup at CampoBravo E.A.S., if collection is delayed by the customer.

The warranty period is not extended due to storage, transportation delays, or delayed customer pickup.

2. Warranty Coverage

During the warranty period, CampoBravo E.A.S. will repair or replace defective components resulting from manufacturing defects or material failures under normal operating conditions.

Warranty coverage may include:

  • Engine-related manufacturing defects (according to engine manufacturer conditions)
  • Hydraulic components with manufacturing defects
  • Hydraulic pumps and valves caused by internal defects
  • Hydraulic cylinders with manufacturing defects
  • Structural failures of the main frame, boom, arm, or chassis caused by material or manufacturing defects
  • Electrical components with manufacturing defects
  • Factory-installed components
3. Pre-Delivery Inspection

Before delivery, CampoBravo E.A.S. performs a basic inspection of the equipment, including:

  • inspection of hydraulic connections
  • checking fluid levels
  • checking fasteners
  • lubrication inspection
  • operational testing
  • basic function testing

The purpose of the inspection is to reduce early failures and ensure proper machine operation at delivery.

4. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover normal wear, maintenance items, misuse, accidents, or damage caused by external factors.

Excluded items include, but are not limited to:

Wear Parts
  • Bucket teeth
  • Cutting edges
  • Pins and bushings due to normal wear
  • Tracks or tires
  • Belts
  • Filters
  • Lubricants and fluids
  • Brake components
  • Rubber components
Damage caused by:
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Incorrect oil changes
  • Contaminated hydraulic oil
  • Incorrect fuel or fluids
  • Overloading the machine
  • Operating outside manufacturer specifications
  • Improper use of attachments
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Accidents or external impact
  • Improper transportation
  • Operation by untrained persons
5. Hydraulic System Conditions

Because hydraulic systems are critical components of construction equipment, warranty coverage requires:

  • correct hydraulic oil according to specifications
  • regular maintenance
  • clean operating environment
  • no unauthorized modifications

Failures caused by contaminated hydraulic fluid, incorrect oil, or external damage are excluded from warranty coverage.

6. Attachments and Modifications

The use of attachments not approved or recommended by CampoBravo E.A.S. may affect warranty coverage.

Modifications, repairs, or adjustments performed without approval from CampoBravo E.A.S. may void warranty coverage for affected components.

7. Customer Maintenance Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • daily inspection
  • lubrication according to maintenance intervals
  • checking fluid levels
  • replacing filters and fluids
  • proper operation of the machine
  • keeping maintenance records

Failure to perform required and recommended (12.) maintenance may result in rejection of warranty claims.

8. Warranty Claim Procedure

To request warranty service, the customer must provide:

  • machine model
  • serial number
  • description of the problem
  • operating hours
  • photos or videos when requested
  • maintenance information if applicable

CampoBravo E.A.S. will evaluate the claim and determine whether the issue is covered under warranty.

9. Warranty Repair Location

Warranty inspections, repairs, and claims shall be handled according to the CampoBravo Technical Support & Field Service Policy.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the place of warranty service is the CampoBravo E.A.S. facility in Hohenau, Paraguay.

Transportation costs are not covered unless expressly agreed in writing.

10. No Guarantee of Downtime or Production Loss

Warranty coverage applies only to repair or replacement of defective components.

CampoBravo E.A.S. is not responsible for:

  • lost income
  • machine downtime
  • business interruption
  • rental equipment costs
  • indirect damages
11. Maintenance Requirements and Customer Responsibilities

Proper maintenance is essential for the reliability, safety, and service life of CampoBravo equipment.

The customer is responsible for performing all required maintenance according to the CampoBravo Maintenance Schedule.

Failure to perform required maintenance or failure to provide maintenance records may result in the denial of warranty claims related to affected components.

The customer must keep records of all maintenance activities, including:

  • date of service
  • machine operating hours
  • type of maintenance performed
  • replaced parts and fluids
  • name of person or company performing the service

CampoBravo E.A.S. may request maintenance records, photos, invoices, or other evidence of completed maintenance when evaluating warranty claims.

12. Recommended Maintenance Schedule
Every 8 Operating Hours (Daily Maintenance)

Required checks:

1. Lubrication

  • Grease all boom, arm, bucket and attachment pivot points
  • Grease swing bearing according to operating conditions

Daily lubrication is essential to minimize wear on pins and bushings.

2. Inspection

  • Check hydraulic oil level
  • Check engine oil level
  • Check coolant level
  • Check fuel level
  • Inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks or damage
  • Check for loose bolts, abnormal noise, or unusual vibration
  • Check tracks and undercarriage condition

Every 50 Operating Hours

Required checks:

  • Check all bolts and fasteners
  • Check hydraulic connections
  • Replace engine oil if required
  • Inspect filters
  • Check track tension
  • Check hydraulic system for leaks
  • Check operating pressures

Every 250 Operating Hours

Required maintenance:

  • Change engine oil
  • Replace engine oil filter
  • Lubricate swing bearing
  • Check final drive oil level
  • Inspect general machine condition

Every 500 Operating Hours

Required maintenance:

  • Check track tension and track wear
  • Replace hydraulic return/filter element according to specification
  • Inspect fan belt
  • Check hydraulic hoses and connections

Every 2000 Operating Hours

Required maintenance:

  • Replace hydraulic oil
  • Check main hydraulic pressure
  • Clean radiator and cooling system
  • Perform complete hydraulic system inspection

Notes: Critical milestone for extending the service life of the hydraulic system.
